Admiral Group Completes Acquisition of Flock

Flock has been acquired by Admiral Group, one of the UK's largest and most innovative insurers. The deal, first announced in February 2026, closed in under four months - a period in which Flock continued to grow its broker network, expand its product offering, and strengthen its position in the commercial motor market.

The acquisition brings together Admiral's scale and expertise with Flock's technology platform, which uses AI and real-world driving data to reduce risk and reward safer fleets.

Admiral Pioneer, the Group’s venture building business, first partnered with Flock in 2024, giving Admiral early insight into the strength of Flock’s proposition ahead of the acquisition.

With Flock's platform trained on hundreds of millions of miles of real-world driving data, and Admiral one of the UK's leading telematics insurers and insurer of almost six million motorists, the combined business brings unmatched insight and expertise to the commercial motor market.

Momentum Since Announcement

Since the deal was announced, Flock has continued to gain momentum:

• Haulage launch: Flock entered the haulage market - a sector contributing £13.5 billion annually to the UK economy - onboarding 20 customers onto the new fleet insurance product.
• Expanded taxi appetite: The minimum fleet size for taxi insurance has been reduced from 25+ to 5+ vehicles, opening the market to thousands of smaller operators across the UK.
• Broad commercial motor appetite: Couriers, taxi & PCO, haulage, own-goods operators, rental fleets, and more - Flock continues to serve a wide set of commercial motor fleets.
• Strong growth: Broker and customer numbers have continued to grow strongly, building a solid foundation for the next phase of the business.
